USS PEACEKEEPER NCC72300
I am very proud of our new vessel. We will earn our place in the history books, along with such Starships as Enterprise. The PeaceKeeper far outperformed any other starship on her first shake down cruise in July of 2375. She was officially commissioned August 27 of 2375. Construction went well and I am relatively sure that you followed her construction as I did. I commend all the crew for their hard work and dedication. I know that this assignment has been a challenge for everyone. Everyone has performed very well and worked well together. This is why I know in my heart that we will be the example for others to follow and look up to. Like Enterprise, PeaceKeeper will be one of the most powerful Starships of her time, thus taking us on the most dangerous assignments. We may find ourselves in a lot of tight places, where we may not have wanted to be. We will remember the prime directive and that we are serving on Starfleet's pride and joy, a PeaceKeeper Class Starship. The first of her kind and unlike anything the Federations enemies have ever dealt with. As you know our mission is that of peace and we will have a large delegation of ambassadorial experts. Due to this we will undoubtedly cross into enemy space to deliver these people to peace talks that require their services. That is why Starfleet has created this class of Starship and hand picked the crew to serve on board her. We must protect our people and be able to escape their entire fleet, with our lives and vessel in tact. All that I expect of my crew is hard work and dedication. The crew gets along well with their shipmates and has pride in our vessel and assignment. They follow the proper chain of command, thereby making us a stronger crew. All staff and departments heads have also been hand picked for their assignments. Together they make a crew that even Enterprise will look up to. Assignments on PeaceKeeper are sought after greatly and we had almost all of Starfleet to choose from. I feel lucky to be able to serve with such a group of people as my crew. I will take a quote from Captain Picard, “Lets make sure that history never forgets the name PeaceKeeper.” Our slogan, "Guardians of the Final Frontier", describes our mission, we are the guardians of the final frontier. We are always looking for the best and brightest that STARFLEET has to offer. Please look around and ask questions. We hope that you will join our crew.
